Hey, Reader!

What lights you up like a Christmas tree?? ๐ŸŽ„

Is it...

  • being in the kitchen, tweaking recipes until they're just right?
  • writing all sorts of tips & tricks so your readers can perfectly recreate your recipes at home?
  • taking gorgeous photos and videos of your beautifully styled food setup?

We all have unique traits that we not only excel at, but we actually love doing!

For me...yeah, I like creating (and eating) sweet treats and taking photos of them. I get super giddy when people make my recipes and enjoy them. Heck, I even just get excited when people show the slightest genuine interest in a recipe!

But what truly lights me up is learning about SEO & technology, catching the small details, and, most of all, having a positive impact on my community!

I love connecting with each and every one of you. Nothing brings me more joy than helping you solve problems, improve your blog (& yourself), and seeing you achieve your goals! (shoutout to Sarah for achieving her Mediavine goal this week!! ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ‰)

At the beginning of 2023, I had 1 main business goal: 6-figure year.

My plan to achieve that was to take actions that would lead to $50k from client work (recipe dev, sponsored posts, etc.) and $50k from the blog (ads).

Coaching was nowhere on my plan for 2023.

I knew I wanted to do it eventually, but I didn't think it was something I'd be able to do anytime soon.

I told myself I needed to have a few more years of experience and be making at least 6-figures just from the blog before I could start teaching other food bloggers.

That was a limiting belief that I had to get over.

As hard as it was (and still is) to admit to myself, I knew that I had acquired a ton of knowledge and made some pretty amazing achievements over the past 3 years.

Even without 10+ years of experience and $100k in revenue, I had a lot to offer to others.

Starting ASAP would allow me to help so many more people than if I were to wait!

Of course, I had my own selfish reasons too...

Coaching others would force me to stay on top of things - blogging, business, SEO, etc. Maybe it'd even help me get over my imposter syndrome ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

I wouldn't know unless I tried.

And so I did.

Did I achieve my 2023 goal? Yeah, but in a completely unexpected way.

Did I help other food bloggers get on track, find their passions, and achieve their goals? I did! ๐Ÿค—

Did I get over my imposter syndrome? Not quite, but I'm hoping therapy will help with that in the new year ๐Ÿ˜…

My point is that if you are truly passionate about something and you think you have even the slightest chance at succeeding, don't wait.

As you start to reflect on the past year and set goals for the next one, really think about what lights you up and how you can lean into it moving forward. (And while you're at it, make yourself a scoreboard!)

I'll be setting goals that allow me to lean into blog growth and help as many food bloggers as I can!

I recently added free resources and launched blog audits & calls to make food blogging and my coaching services accessible to more people, and I have many more ideas I want to implement in the new year!

I can't wait to kick off 2024 doing what I love: coaching a group of 12 amazing food bloggers and assisting even more 1-on-1!

What will you be leaning into?

Happy holidays & see ya next year ๐Ÿ‘‹
