Hey, Reader!

How's your week been? Are you starting to see the holiday traffic come in? I had a nice & chill Thanksgiving with Chris and his parents last week and we got our tree up on Friday! 🎄

With Q4 traffic on the rise, I wanted to send out a quick reminder about star ratings! We always want our users to have the best possible experience, and being able to quickly & easily rate a recipe is a part of that. Plus, more ratings help us attract more users (& search engines 😉)!

A while ago I showed how to change your WPRM settings so that users can leave a rating just by clicking on the stars (no comment required unless it's 4 stars or less!). If you haven't already set this up, head over to your WPRM settings ASAP - it's a quick fix!

Building off of that, you can also add the star ratings to the top of your post!

This is also done in the WPRM settings. Open up the Template Editor:

Then select the Snippet Templates:

Select the template you use and click Edit Template.

On the left, click Add Blocks and then scroll down and select Recipe Rating. It'll let you choose where you want to put it and then you can adjust the colors, etc. and then hit save! (You can go back in and Edit Blocks to change their settings anytime.)

I have mine right under the Recipe Jump, but you're welcome to add it wherever you like!

Now, users can click on those stars at the top of the post or in the recipe card to leave ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ super quickly & easily!

Happy blogging!
